Thyroid Health Indicator
This rapid in-clinic health screening test can detect if you’re suffering from an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) or overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) to help with early diagnosis and treatment. Thyroid disorders are common, with around one in twenty people in the UK diagnosed with one. Symptoms of thyroid disorders include fatigue, unexpected weight gain or weight loss, low mood, mood swings and depression.
Aftercare
If you have tested positive you must contact your GP for further advice and for further confirmatory blood tests. Please try not to be alarmed, false positives and false negatives can be common. If you are testing negative but remain symptomatic you must contact your GP for further investigation.
